The Risk it Takes to Bloom

A word of thanks and an invitation to unfurl.

Hey buds. Yes, that’s how a Koru starts. With a small bud that emerge, blossoms and breaks open, bursting forth a trajectory of life, growth and unfurling.

I so enjoyed our last online Zoom Event and especially appreciated the courage and vulnerability so many of you showed by opening about your own creative projects. What an honour to witness the impact I get to have on people and answer your questions based on my time in this industry and my own existential longings which have led me to a life of Art.

We discussed the idea of having a space where everyone could share what they’re working on. It’s no surprise to me that a lot of the buds inside this Koru have overlapping interests and trajectories. I love the idea of this becoming a real community where we can not only encourage one another but perhaps even provide helpful insight, feedback or references to further inspire the projects you are all working on.

So this space is just for you to connect and share with one another. I will also enjoy checking out things you post from time to time and can offer encouragement and feedback if you would ever like it.
