I have mentioned that I love poetry, and I really love when it speaks to my soul!
I love how you said that we wouldn't want our younger self to listen, and that is SO absolutely true, ...because no matter what I have lived through in my 70 years, it is what has made me the individual who can love others 'no matter what' and to have a greater understanding of what we each much go through to "become"!
Lovely piece. Something I should do in lieu of just throwing the younger self in the category of a feral animal. I find forgiveness hard...especially in myself. Ironically, I have been searching for whatever good and echoing moments from childhood that could appease my ever restless nature now.
Yes...your words are welcoming this morning.

Very good, as if written by someone of great age.
Any age is “of great age”, especially when perceived by the many unsuspected, latently stalked by fate, yet to attain it, and never will.
Ahh the shit we say when we get old 🤔
Truly Amazing!👏👏👏😊
I read this to see how on earth you were going to connect the dots between a letter to your younger self, and Rene Magritte.
It was a very uncomfortable read.
I didn’t like it.
Then it dawned on me why.
Your near poetic prose reminded me of something I need to address.
Thank you for the epiphany. This seems to be my week for self-discovery.

We should not judge the past by today’s morals…and when we realize the mistakes we have made in the past; it is GOOD.
It just means we have moved forward and improved which is fabulous!
Just forgive yourself and use it to help others in their journey on this earth 🌍!!!
Lovely
Brilliant and wise!
This was so, so beautiful. I have no other words to say.
Beautiful. Read it, and then reversed the perspective, basically made all ‘you’s ‘I’s and ‘me’s, and the ‘I’s and ‘me’s ‘you’s. Interesting contrast
