Arriving to myself as the Sun rises in Mexico.
Pure poetry in your words. Pure love. Pure presence. And boundless generosity.
That means a lot Laura.
So enchanting! To be nothing and everything all at once. Thank you for this precious reminder of the simple beauty all around. It exists even in the struggle to survive.
You are absolutely right. The gift is in the wound.
Once again, I am enamored with the words that you have written.
I find that I am drawn into your soul as I read all your words.
Thank you got sharing so much.
Kayleen - I am back in Oaxaca and remembering these words myself! So glad they mean something to you. X
Oaxaca is obviously inspiring you! I always find inspiration when I’m on the road.🌟
Right? Perspective and respect for other humans and life forms on this planet….
Thank you for sharing. This reminds me of a home within myself and how nature seems to take me there
Home is always inside yourself.
Not incredible but very beautifully credible.
Thank you.
I have wanted to send you this for days:
A Reflection on Kimbra's Substack
When a Star Dies
It's hard
On us
When a young star
Supernovas
We maybe missed the signs
Or couldn't see
The flash blasts us
with thousands of bits
Of the relationshps we had built
With them
Whether acknowledged or not
The life rays we received from them
Resonated in our souls
Only because our souls
Resonated at the same frequencies
So we all
Have the innate power
To self resonate.
I love this so much. Thank you
Incredible writing! Your words flow so freely and engage all five senses (visual, auditory, smell, etc.). A very pleasant read. God bless!
Sensations are everything ! Dense and fine!
So lush, dripping imagery. Golden prose. This is why I subscribed. You are a writer whose words teach being.
I mean, Saige! Beautiful name ;)
Wow what an honor. Thank you Sage! I will continue for you!
it's good to be in silence and stillness after so much sound and movement.
Try living in New York, ha!
I am awoken by the smell of life around me.
I have nowhere to be. It is an insight I arrive at with my senses and with my skin.
I am touched by the lack of urgency.
Devoted to the patience of slow time.
So glad that resonated with you.
or even to no that there is a place you want to be ....
It's a precious thing having a place you want to stay ...🙃
The rest of when a Star Dies
Birds sing to one another
Because they already knew
Some of the melodies
And were able to return the songs,
Or new interpretations,
Breathing them back
Into the air
So become a bird
And sing your notes.
Love this. In addition to music suggested here, may I suggest Tijuana Moods by Charles Mingus.
Amazing record. Truly.
If not the whole album at least “Flamingo.”
Special emotions to special tracks ....wish you a pleasant Sunday ....at my place , night has fallen ...
Some emotions are connected to music ....
