Very nice tune Kimbra. Thank you. For some of the artists I follow these sort of demo songs that never made it to a fully released state are often just as good if not better than some of the music that gets produced and released professionally. Heck I often prefer some of the more dumbed-down acoustic versions of songs that gets demoed or leaked out by the artist prior to it making its way to a full release simply because those earlier versions are not as heavily produced, and what usually results is us getting to hear the artists vocals uninhibited by more instruments or synths/computer effects etc. To me that is the best type of music to connect to, music where you can feel the raw emotion of the artists voice. Gives me chills every time! Thank you 🙏🙂 P.S. I'm going to have to add this song to my Kimbra Spotify offline music (MP3) rotation somehow haha. Very nice having heard it about 4 or 5 times now while writing this reply lol 👍🏼

What a beautiful song. Thank you. I like it better than some polished-for-Spotify creation. For me, I feel the two magical experiences I have had that make no sense to me, with strangers that lifted me or them, or us both in some way, into a divine place that I wonder about a lot. Both were just brief meetings. One was more about energy I think than the person. Then, I am reminded how it feels to write, or send things out here on Substack. I am enjoying being touched by your posts, words, and musings. They resonate with my own and amplify the light I feel in the world and desire to catalyze in some way.

Art requires such vulnerability and bravery — seeing the lyrics handwritten reminds me of this... Our own hands as the initial conduit between mind and world. <3

Thank you Kimbra! Beautiful! I’ve been following since reading “ To No Applause”. I’m astonished by your depth and beautiful wisdom. What you described about you and the audience holding each other--boundaries fading_the intimacy of that... speaks for that potential in many moments. I know you know that. I just love how it came to you. I am a brand new fan, a 73 year old grandfather psychotherapist in California. Thanks again 🌈🙏🏼🎈
